Enjoy the clubhouse with an indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub. Enjoy outdoor pastimes including, fishing, horseback riding and hiking, with several fine golf courses in the area. In winter, Ski Apache offers powder skiing at 12,000 ft, with a vertical drop of 1700 feet. Other attractions include galleries, museums, specialty boutiques and casinos. If seeking glitz and luxury, look elsewhere; if you want to be close to nature and a rustic setting with breathtaking views of Sierra Blanca and the Sacramento Mtns; we can\'t be beat! Your vacation home at High Sierra is air- conditioned and features a fireplace, washer/dryer and a full kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave oven and TV/VCR. 1BR units OCC: Max 4/Pri 4 have 1 bath, 1 queen bed and 1 sleep sofa. 2BR units OCC: Max 6/Pri 6 have 1 3/4 baths, 1 king or 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds and 1 sleep sofa. 3BR units OCC: Max 8/Pri 8 have 1 3/4 baths, 1 king bed, 4 twin beds and 1 sleep sofa. Resort has 2 floors and no elevators. If you anticipate a late arrival, please contact the resort in advance. No pets areallowed. Ski seasons vary from year to year, please contact the resort to verify dates. Resort requires a US$200 security deposit at check-in (cash or credit card). To fully enjoy the area, a car is necessary. Tire chains may be required during periods of heavy snowfall. Resort does not have any handicapped units. The resort is set at a very high altitude,and there are stairs to all units.
